The most important activities of Polish Section (PS) of EUW were as follows:

PS participation in the discussion about the difficulties in career and family life of contemporary Polish women
PS role in the assurance of greater involvement of women in the political life of the country

The Polish Section of the EUW has branches in the 10 largest towns in Poland and all are very active. The PS cooperates with the Polish parliament, business firms and companies and also educational institutions. It works on the promotion of women in business, science, culture and social life - and fights against violence towards women. It works towards the annihilation of all injustices and discrimination of women in Poland. The Polish Section is trying to make the nation's democracy more meaningful, more transparent and closer to the people.
