NORWEGIAN SECTION OF THE EUW

EUW in Norway

We have been members of EUW,  through our membership in the Conservative Party Women, since its inception in 1953.
In 2006 the Party ended  membership of the EUW, as they had access to EWA..


As Norway is not a member of the EU, we saw the importance of continuing the membership and to remain connected to Europe. We took over EUW Norwegian Section on the same day that the Party ended the membership.

Through our council meetings, commissions and social events over the years we did bring back to the Conservative Party, parliament and city councils new policy ideas and points of view that did, in fact, bring about change for our citizens. I will mention two of these ideas:   care of our environment  and human trafficking.  

Our current goal is to attract more young members to join us.
